At CT, we offer small groups, support groups, and Sunday School classes to help you grow deeper in your faith and understanding of the Bible, serve together, and find community. These are places where life transformation happens and we want you to be a part of it!
Sunday Mornings
You have a number of opportunities for adult education on Sunday mornings. Adult Sunday school classes are an opportunity to learn about the Bible and Christian living within a supportive community.
Good Shepherd
A class for married and single adults 50+. Members of our class also go on group outings and support worthy causes.
Pairs & Spares

An open discussion class aimed at married and single adults in their twenties to fifties. In addition to our weekly Sunday school class, we also have periodic get-togethers that include our families.
Pre-Sermon Lowdown
This group meets to discuss the scripture for the morning's message. Will it match? Who knows!
Small Groups
Small groups help people grow in their faith and build community. Our groups take place throughout the week.
Men's Breakfast
The Saturday Morning Men’s Group meets the second Saturday of the month, September through May. Fun, Food, and Fellowship are a large part of what the group is all about, but that is not all of it. Contact Kenny Skidmore (740-868-6070) for more information.
Wednesday Bible Study

Service Groups
Verla Moore Service Club
The Verla Moore Service Club was organized more than 50 years ago by a group of young women at Central Trinity U.M. Church who wanted to serve the Lord in a special way. Most of them had a longstanding relationship with the late Verla Moore, a woman of deep faith who had been their Sunday School teacher, youth counselor and mentor and had impacted their lives over many years. She continued to be the service club advisor for as long as her health permitted. Several of the Charter Members are still active in the organization today.
Some of their projects include delivering gifts to shut-ins at Easter and Thanksgiving; sponsoring a church-wide collection for Samaritan Purse Christmas boxes; collection for Salvation Army; and making subs for Superbowl Sunday as a fund raiser.
In addition, they collect and distribute items to various organizations each month, including Eastside Ministry, Transitions and others. They also serve refreshments and meals for special events at Central Trinity, such as the Messiah Concert and Thursday Music Club.
The VMSC Vision Statement is: To bring people to Jesus and membership in His family by: Developing greater Biblical knowledge; Equipping persons for life decisions as Christians; Instilling a lifelong passion for service to God, the church and others.
Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m., usually at the church, and anyone interested is encouraged and welcome to visit and/or become members at any time.
